Recently, Luke, Thad, & Paul were all invited to be guests on podcasts! Luke & Thad spoke with Monte Bottens from AgEmerge Podcast. This episode is focused on the future of farming. Luke and Monte discussed his background at WIU and dug into his current work as a soil scientist and researcher at the University of Illinois dedicated to studying soil health, water quality, and nutrient cycles—bridging the gap between science and real-world farming. Thad brought a slightly different perspective to the episode having recently taken a bold step into national leadership, serving as the National FFA President, advocating for agricultural education and inspiring the next generation of changemakers. From hands-on experience in the field to cutting-edge research and nationwide advocacy, our boys are shaping the future of agriculture in their own unique ways. Meanwhile.... Paul spoke with Shay Foulk from Ag View Solutions in an episode titled "Part-time CFO for YOUR Farm?" For those of you that didn't know Paul received his Bachelor of Science in agricultural economics from the University of Illinois and later began his own business Bergschneider Ag Consulting Inc. In this episode Paul & Shay discuss the benefits of having a part-time CFO as a key decision-maker in your operation, and when it might be time to consider bringing someone like that into your Strategic Resource Team. From high risk loans to paying down debt, they cover it all in this episode!
